Objective: DVIR(Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) will be a mobile apps first feature. Drivers will use the app to submit and review DVIR’s. Fleet Managers will use app to review submitted DVIR’s.

Pain Points

Drivers have no quick & easy way of notifying fleet managers of issues with vehicles.
No easy way of building habits of inspecting vehicles on a regular basis.
DVIR processes that exist in other products are cumbersome and difficult to use for smaller companies.

Project Overview

What is DVIR?

Driver Vehicle Inspection Report is a mobile apps first feature. Drivers will use the app to inspect and submit the exterior and interior . Fleet Managers will use app to review submitted DVIR’s.

How does it work?

Driver Vehicle Inspection Report is set up by Fleet Managers based on the nature of their business vehicles. Drivers sign in to the Driver app to fill the DVIR report as part of inspection. The report is then sent to Fleet Managers to further resolve vehicles that have problems..

My Role and Responsibilities

Created wireframes and prototypes to convey ideas ensuring design principles, practice changes and improvements from the perspective of the broad user group were incorporated(Sketch / Invision).

Worked collaboratively with cross-functional teams of BA’s, product owners and development teams to gather requirements, feedback, design sign off or any other limitations encountered.
